By law all municipal buses, interurban buses and
coaches must be equipped with at least four
emergency hammers located at defined positions.
These emergency hammers must be located in
support brackets situated in the direct vicinity of
the side windows which are specifically identified
as being emergency exits and the glass of which
can be easily smashed by means of the emergency
hammer.
